My grandpa and mom have alot of them on their necks. So far I only have one on my neck as well. My mom spoke to her doctor some years ago, and he told her a way to remove them. I would never do this myself, but my mom has removed them this way for years, and yes, the doctor actually told her to do this. He said to take a piece of thread and wrap it around the tag, then pull the opposite ends until it squeezes the tag off. I know, it doesn't sound very medically safe to me, but this was per her doctor, and she has been doing this for a long time with no problems. I'm not really suggesting this, just letting you know what she does to get rid of hers.
