Cetaphil moisturizers (cream and lotion) - Beauty & Cosmetics Message Board

Does anyone use one of these moisturizers? What is your opinion of them? Do they clog pores or cause any irritation at all? Is it moisturizing enough? And, if you can, would you mind listing the ingredients? Thanks a lot!!

I used them in the past, but need something more moisturizing. When I used it, it didn't clog my pores at all, it did moisturize somewhat, but it didn't last long for me. I'm using Oil of olay complete now for the UV protection, but i think the sunscreen makes me break out a little more than if I didn't use it. the best success I had was just with regular oil of olay that was non-comedegenic (I think that's their way of saying not clogging of pores).

I absolutely love Cetaphil. I use the cleanser(no water) twice a day. First I make a nice lather on my face and gently work it onto the skin and lightly tissue off. Then I apply it a second time and lightly remove and it leaves a very light coverage. Afterwards you can use the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream which is excellent. It is not heavy or oily, leaving the skin soft and foundation covers beautifully over it.
The nice thing too about Cetaphil is no scent, no allergic reactions to bother about from those perfumed cleansers and lotions that make your eyes water.

Thank you both for replying... I have tried the Cetaphil cleanser, but honestly I didn't like it too much. Maybe the moisturizer is better, but I'm not sure yet if I want to spend so much money on it (it's kinda expensive for me)!... I'll wait and see if more people recommend it.

Hi, I didn't like the clenser either.I needed something to keep at my boyfriends house and picked up the creme moisturizer after hearing a lot of reviews about it.I have sensitive skin(combination) and usually only use natural stuff. So far hasn't bothered me and after letting it sink in (doesn;t take to long) it is a great base for makeup.(mix it with a drop of jojoba oil) I love it!Sorry can't list the ingredients because I am at work-thats why I've been on this board more lately.lol but I looked them up individually after purchasing and they are all good ingredients-had some that are supposed to attract moisture or something like that.Well its great.
