hello. i just wanted to know what the best types and colors of makeup are for pale skin. (like ivory color i guess is what they call it). cuz i can't wear any makeup without it being sooo noticeable cuz my skin is so light. what looks best on fare skin???

also---my skin is very very very sensitive (it gets dry alot)---but then this is the weird thing---it is also oily---but since my skin is sensitive it's hard to find something that'll tolerate it and yet still keep it non-oily.

i have tried powder---but usually since my skin gets dry alot and flaky---it just isn't a good combination.
i have tried the liquid foundation---but it looks really noticable on me---and plus since my skin can't have anything oily or anything that will clog pores on it---so i dunno what to do.

any suggestion would be appriciated. thanx.

I have a friend who have a skin like yours , when she puts powder her face becomes so flaky n her skin was sensitive i advised her to use clinque n it turned out to be great she also uses their moisturizer try it , it might work for u

I currently graduated from cosmetology school and one of the things we had to learn is what colors (hair, make-up, clothing) looks good on who. It really doesn't matter (as much) about the color of your skin (but it does have some bearing on it). What matters most is your hair color, eye color, underlying pigment color, and so on. What color are your eyes, hair, do you have a slight pinkish undertone? I really couldn't tell you what colors unless i knew that general information. Some of the time pale people, look good in pastel colors and sometimes they don't. I have a medium level brown hair and i too am fair complected with pink undertones. My eyes are brown also. I can wear black (although some can't pull that off), i can wear red (b/c i have some faint red in my hair), i can wear navy, coral, etc. Let me know a little more, adn i might be able to help you out.

P.S. probably you will have to wear soft shades of peach, rose, taupe lipstick, but like I said, it depends on your underlying tone and hair color. We learned that Eye shadow is very universal, almost any colors will go with anything if you have the right things to pull it off (attitude, wardrobe, face shape). But what is very attractive on fair skin is nude colors. You want people to look at you adn say, "WOW, you look very pretty" adn not necessarily notice what it is about you that looks so good, although it's obvious its your makeup.

Hey!! i also have skin like luv11 (very very fair, mostly dry, and sometimes oily), and was wondering if you could give me advice on what makeup i should choose. i have long light blonde hair, i have baby blue eyes(very light),and the undertone of my skin is pink. thank you so much for taking the time to read this and please reply back!! thanx again!
