i don't know if this is the one you are thinking of, but i use a perfume made by demeter that smells like ginger ale. they have all different scents that are everday items and they have one called laundry.

I think you may be thinking of a scent from the "Smell This" line...Clean Linen or something to that effect. I actually saw the "Smell This" fragrances being sold in K-Mart the other day. The Cookie Dough is divine!
