Anyone try bare Minerals? - Beauty & Cosmetics Message Board

It's an infommercial-type product from bare Essentials. It's a foundation that looks like a powder, but when you touch it it turns to a cream and it is made out of pure minerals. They said it's ideal for acne and it looks really natural. They say it's also great for your skin and that you can even sleep in it. So has anybody ordered it? It's like 40 bucks...

I got into Bare Escentuals via their perfume which totally rocks. I LOVE their eyebrow color but their eye shadows and foundation pretty much suck.

I tried the powder foundation several times and no matter what, it ended up looking cakey. I even went into one of their stores and had one of their "beauty consultants" put it on - same result.

I still see the infomercials on tv and it LOOKS so good, but I chalk it up to one of those "if it looks too good to be true..."

You can also get it on QVC - on their website or on tv. I think it's a lot cheaper there.
