hi twist, i tried this the other day and it was nice and feels silky. it's called "nutty milk bath'.
1/4 cup oatmeal ground up to fine powder (i just use colloidal oatmeal from the drugstore);
1/4 cup powdered milk;
1 tbsp. baking soda;
1 tsp. jojoba or almond oil;
essential oils:
3 drops chamomile;
3 drops rose;
6 drops orange (cut this down irritated my skin using this much).
if you can't find the essential oils which run into a lot of money and synthetic oils aren't so hot, you can get chamomile and rose buds as dried herbs and drop them into boiling water on the stove and use the infusion method by steeping them on a low flame, covered for about 10 mins. then draining them through cheesecloth and pouring them into the tub. it is a nice bath and really isn't that much trouble. i also like rosemary, rosebuds, lavender dried herbs infused and a few drops of carnation essential oil. hope this helps. pinkcat |
