Prescriptives Makeup: Opinions, Please!! - Beauty & Cosmetics Message Board

Has anyone had trouble with Prescriptives makeup clogging pores or causing breakouts?

It was recommended to me, but I just want to make sure before I buy some- it's too expensive to make a mistake!!

Also, if you've used it, did you like it? Was it worth the money?

What kind of makeup are you getting? Foundation, concealer, powder?

I was considering their foundations and possibly their powders. As for concealer... I'm hoping two layers of foundation would suffice... I don't know yet.

I tried Prescriptives foundation, concealer and powder about a year ago. I didn't like the iridescent quality that the products had and it also settled into every little line on my face and needed constant touch up. When I went back to the counter to return much of what I had purchased, I was told that "No makeup is maintenance free!" I was apparently expecting too much from the makeup! So, I went back to Estee Lauder, which IS maintenance free.

i've tried prescriptives. even their lightest shade was too dark for me. it is overpriced too!
