I don't know if this is just me, but does anyone look bad with their hair tied back? For some reason, I only look good when my hair is down. I'm getting really tired of wearing it down everyday! Is there something else I could try? The pony tail isn't working for me lol!

This will sound really obvious...but have you tried putting some up and some down? There's some really cool variations of half up half down hair out there at the moment. You can go crazy with bobby pins or hairties or just tie a bit of it up and let the rest loose.

I'm with you....I look horrible with my hair up because I have a long face with a pointy chin and ENORMOUS ears. Kids teased me and called me "Dumbo" when I was a kid (after a cartoon elephant for those who are too young to remember!). But sometimes when I work out I really like to put it in a ponytail. The only thing that makes me look not so hideous is if I kind of pull the hair forward after I put the elastic in, so that it is fuller behind my ears instead of really flat and slicked back. I don't really know how to explain it any better than that, but it really gives the ponytail a whole different look. I also like for my hair to be not so smooth when I put it back in a ponytail, and to have kind of a rougher texture, so I kind of lift pieces and spray them with hairspray, and then let it dry before I put it in a ponytail. yeah i know how you guys feel..a few years ago, a total stranger told me that i look bad with my hair up, and since then i've always been self-conscious about it...my friend also jokes that i have a big head, so maybe that's why i don't look good with my hair up...anyway, i don't really mind wearing my hear down...you can try doing different hairstyles like curling your hair or wearing it straight and stuff...
