OK, this is going to sound like I just started wearing makeup last night, but here goes. At the risk of sounding to out of the loop....does the cream to powder foundation really work? I don't want to have the extra step if I don't have to, but I would much rather take the extra time than look like I have on 3lbs of foundation (or not enough to cover the uneven skin that I have) Can anyone help?

I prefer using Max Factor Hypersmooth liquid foundation then i would apply the powder it looks totaly natural and it gives me great coverage.

I don't know how old you are, but if you are young and don't have wrinkles or fine lines, the cream to powder foundation may be for you.

But, if you have large pores, or wrinkles/lines, dryness, be careful - some of the powder foundations can really make you look awful. Revlon make a nice one and it has SPF 15 too. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

I really like Mary Kay's cream to powder foundations. The colors usually only work for me though in the summer, I have very fair skin in the winter. It depends on your tones and pores and all that stuff too though. Try it and see if it works. If it doesn't, take the extra step and it will be worth it! I personally don't use either so I'm not an expert, but when I did wear it, I used MK's cream to powder.

I like the Maybelline cream to powder. It goes on smooth and doesn't look like you have alot of makeup on. It's really natural looking.... just make sure whatever you choose you get the right shade. You don't want to look orangy.... thats the worst. The best way to pick the right shade is to apply it on the jawline right next to your neck... it should match there.... good luck....
