I would like to know if anyone has tried the cheaper self tanners, like the ones you can buy at Wal-Mart. I would like to try one, but don't want to turn orange. Any suggestions??

neutrogena is the best and you can get it at walmart. I bought the dark tanning spray and love it. It gives you the dark tan in one application. I tried a lot of them---no ad--avon ect. and by far love neutrogena the best.

Thanks Maude&Bandit. I have one other question for you. Did you have to use a loofah before using the tanner, and how long did the "tan" last??

I always have a bath before applying a self tanner and use a body wash net. That sort of works like a loofah. The neutrogena last about 5 to 7 days. I think it looks so real too. No streaks like some others. It also dries really quick.

Just a little trick I use. I use surgical gloves to put on the self tanner. That way my hands stay clean. You can probbaly use rubber or even a baggie if you haven't got them. However you can buy them cheap at the store too.
