Does anyone else have oily skin, and have any solutions to stop the shine? Do any oil control products really work?

The shisheido range is really great for getting that instantly clean feeling but it kinda goes after a couple of hours

try a product called: "Clinac OC". It is over the counter but a bit pricey. The company that makes this is called Ferndale Labs. Just do a search on them and you can get the website. I have talked about this stuff before I think on the acne board. It is a gel type substance and you put a thin layer on your face. Let it set for about 2 minutes and then you can wear makeup on top. It is absorbed in the skin so it won't interfere with your makeup. You won't find it on the shelves of any drugstore but you will have to ask your pharmacist for it.

"Matte Scientist" by Origins is helpful in controlling shine prior to make up application. Geared for oily skins that need hydration but fear moisturizers!

Thanks very much. Have you found a foundation that isn't too heavy, and that doesn't block pores but is great for hiding oily skin?

I've just discovered the skin care line Erno Laszlo. Super pricey but I love it. It keeps my skin oil free and clear. In case you look into it and you are extremely oily, like I am, you would most likely be a 3:00 customer.
