fruit flies attracted to my toner - Beauty & Cosmetics Message Board

Laugh if you want but understand I am being completely serious. I use neutrogena pore refining toner, and the second I flip the lid on the bottle atleast one fruit fly starts flying around it and it tries to sit on my face once I've used the toner. I can't find any fruit flies in the house (little buggers are hiding from me) but they only come out when I open my toner. The other day I found one dead in the bottle

Is this happening to anyone else??

I use the same toner, but haven't had any fruit flies come around. I have been using it for like 6 months now.

I am being serious too but does it have any fruit extracts in it? Such as citrus etc.. That is strange and how aggravating that must be!!

It has no fruit extracts in it. It has peppermint extract though. Would that attract them? And the stuff doesn't smell sweet it smells like soapy water. I dunno why they like it
