I just got a perm not too long ago that I would love to get rid of now LOL but don't know if getting it stripped would cause a lot of damage to my hair. My hair was bleached and colored before I got the perm. If that's a bad idea then does anybody know of any good curl products that will shape my curls nicely and hold them without making my hair too stiff? I've tried so many products but the only one that seems to be somewhat ok is Finesse. Any suggestions?

It is probably never a good idea to get a perm within 3 months (or at all) of having your hair bleached and colored. Right now about the only thing you can do is use some kind of conditioner to get it back in good shape again. Perm should relax by itself given time. (I know; none of us are very patient!)

If you want your perm to relax I have heard that using a lot of deep conditioners can make it relax faster.

Got 2B(hair smoothing serum) will help make your curls shiny and soft. If I "scrunch" my hair enough while blow drying I can get curls. I use a dime size amount of the Got 2B with about an inch length GW glue(like a pommade and gell in one)and mix them together in my hand before applying to my shoulder length hair. I find it works best if you put a little water in your hair after applying the products as soaking wet hair shapes into smoother curls while blow drying than hair that has been towel dried first. Thermasilk also has a product that is a little lighter it is called Control & Condition Cream.
