What is everyone using to apply their mineral makeup? I need a good brush, etc.

Kabuki is the best. I got mine with my kit.

So are you using Bare Minerals? Do you find it has a shiny finish to it? I did just buy the kabuki....the only problem is I have been sampling many mineral makeups so they are in those little minature ziploc baggies and the brush does not fit in there, haha. Do you wash your brush? I heard it was good to wash it once a week or so with baby shampoo.

I didn't realize the samples came in baggies? What brand is it. I looked at the Cory Line yesterday. I use BE and really like it but Cory sure looks cheaper! I don't get a shine real bad. I use the Mineral veil. No I am bad I don't wash my brush

Not only do I not wash it I use it with everything, fondation, blush, minerial Veil

Cory is much cheaper and it is matte. I hate the shiny finish of BE and I also tried Jane Iredale which was really expensive and very shiny. The shine just seems to really accentuate the flaws on my face. Cory is great so far and you are correct about the kabuki. I just tried it today for the first time and it makes a world of difference in how my face looks after application of Cory Cosmetics. Now, question for you, do you agree that all mineral makeups treat your face in the same way? I notice that BE advertises as the PUREST mineral makeup......do you think it really is? Do you think Cory is not as good of quality? Have you ever tried Aromaleigh, Geografx, Botany 101 or any other mineral makeups?
