I want to buy this I just don't know which brand and where to buy it. I was looking for something that will not be oily or icky on my face. Also, how much does it usually cost?

anything you buy that has the word collagen in it or if you buy it from walgreens or target, is not going to do anything for you. nothing you put topically (unless a prescription) is going to stimulate collagen. the only thing that is going to build up collagen is getting injections.
anything you buy from a store like these is not going to have enough of active ingredients to do anything for your skin. products you buy from a spa will have a higher % of active ingredients that otc. and the highest % of active ingred. will only be found from a dr.
Skin Therapy has a excellent Vitamin C serum. I have been using it for 6 months now on a daily basis and my skin has changed radically from it. You can look it up on-line. My facialist is the one who had me buy it. Also they make a great sun screen. You do not have to put on moisturizer since it is so rich.

Is the vitamin C serum from that company thick and gooey or does it absorb fast? Did you have skin problems such as hyperpigmentation or anything when you started using the product? What difference have you seen. I already use their cleanser and clarifying gel, but I was hesitant to order more stuff because it ended up costing me nearly 100 dollars with shipping and handling as I am from Canada.
The Vitamin C serum from Skin Therapy is not gooey but it is a little sticky which wears down soon after you put it on.
My routine with it is in the morning I use their facial wash, then I put on the Vit.C serum, then I use their lightening cream ( I do have freckles and sun damage on my skin from growing up in the Southern California sun), and finally their sun block. My skin is extremely smooth, pores are small, and I am always told what beautiful skin I have. I know they are not a cheap product and I buy mine from the clinician who I get microdermabrasion from every month ( that also contibutes ), so I am sure she marks it up more. But she swears by it- she works for several Beverly Hills plastic surgeons and she has a reputation that is excellent. I also use their retinal ( sp.?) serum at night. I have followed this routine religiously for at least 5 months and I do notice my skin looking really healthy and glowing. I have few fine lines and the uneven skin tone is vanishing.
Avalon Organics carries a Vit C Serum which I like. I bought some at CVS pharmacy and Ive also seen it at Ulta sometimes and at health food stores. Its 19.99.
My daughter just got microdermabrasion. Her skin looked perfect to begin with but she's such a perfectionist . She said it didn't hurt (oh, sure) & she got the woman's name from a friend at work who has it done on her lunch hour. She said her face was SLIGHTLY pink but looked prettier.
I guarantee you if I went in there I would not have been given this gentle treatment. Nope. She would have brought out the Heavy Artillary for This skin. Heavy Duty sandpaper from Lowe's.

hehehehe, yeh they would probably bring that same sandpaper out for me! did your daughter ever have acne or discolorations, how well did the microderm help with that?
