I discovered Retinol a couple of years ago. I've tried a couple of brands here in Germany -- they're probably also available in USA. Eucerin makes a perfume-free cream which I like. Vichy also has a good product, but I prefer products without perfume. Since the same products probably won't have the same names in the two countries, I'd suggest going to a good cosmetics counter and looking for Retinol in the name.
Retinol is an ingredient that used to be available only by prescription. It makes your face a bit more sensitive to the sun, so you'll have to give up long sunbathing -- but it's the sun that causes those wrinkles in the first place!
But Retinol really works! Most of my fine wrinkles are gone, and even the deep wrinkles are softened. I noticed results after the first three weeks of daily use. The longer you use it, the better the results. At my age (55) I expect to keep using it for as long as I can afford it.
