i swear, all these female celebs..brittney, j-lo, jessica simpson, and so on, always have this natural color lipstick thats so glossy looking, and i want it soo bad. does anyone know what to use to get that look?
I went to a make up artist and told her the same thing!! - "i want that soft pink nude color"
It actually isn't a color so much as numerous colors on top of one another. She used a liner, then put some concealer on top of that and then, and then put on a gloss that had has some sparkle and color and, voila, a 'natural' looking pretty pink lipstick.
In a tube, the only color I've found that is JUST like that beautiful pale pretty pink is Lancomes 'Mischevious' but they don't sell it any more (typical!) but I'm still on the look out for it and when I find it I will let you know.
I LOVE that look too. This is what I use and it looks alot like what you described.......I have a thing of Blistex Lip Tone. Its in the chapstick section. It it like 1 or 2 $. It has a slight color to it. I just put it on lightly (like 1 thin layer) and then put Vaseline over it and it looks exactly how I want it to. It looks very natural but with the gloss look.
i am glad i am not the only one who was thinking about that. of course with my luck, although it is natural looking, it would probably still look bad on me i will try what yall said though, and hope it works and looks good. thanks yall!
I actually found the *PeRfEcT* color for this look & it looks soo hot with smokey eyes!
Try Maybelline Lip Polish (it's like a really shiny gloss with color) in Nude Flash. Only about $6 a tube where I live. I keep stock -- I can't live w/o the stuff!!!!
