have you ever blowdried your hair or does it frizz up? if you have naturally curly hair that wont straighten, i would stay curly! my sister has very naturally curly hair and she uses just a basic cheap gel and alot of hairspray and lets it airdry then curls it and it looks perfect.. if you can get your hair striaght or if thats what your trying.....try something else. my hair is naturally wavy but curls up if i let it airdry but i blowdry it and yes it gets frizzy....i dont use a roundbrush when i do either, but then i section it off and straighten it w a flat iron. i hardly use product besides sometimes a shine gloss. i guess it depends on what your trying to acheive but for your dry hair i would start out by getting a trim to get the dead ends off. they also have a thing called a malibu treatment that makes your hair really soft and less heavy. you can also get it thinned out w/ sheering scissors...but thats where id start. theres also shampoos that control frizz. try pantene pro-v it works great. i use back to basics from the salon which comes in a variety of scents and helps different types of hair. good luck hope you get the look you want!!
