Certain Dri totally eliminates underarm perspiration. Its the only thing that does. When applied, it tend to be itchy, but that fades after a few minutes. You put it on at night and by morning its working. Use no other deodorant with it. Some people here have reported that they only have to use it a few times a week after a few months. I've used it in the summer, and you wont sweat at all under your arms. Supposedly this is not a problem, as the perspiration simply exits in other areas, since you sweat everywhere. I had no problems with it other than slight itching after application.
Drysol - it's perscription I believe, but it dries your underarms like a charm! You only have to apply it once a week, and you dont have to use any other deoderant. Even in the heat of the summer and the rest of my body is sweating like crazy, I could feel my underarms and they would literally be bone dry. It's a great product!
Wow BostonGirl! Once every few weeks?? Do you still have to use regular deodorant also to mask the odor, or no?
Yup, I don't have to use Certain Dri that often anymore. When I first started (over 2 years ago), I used it every day or every other day. I still use Secret deodorant every morning just because it seems natural for me to do that. I don't notice any body odor if I don't but it just makes me feel better. I used to sweat badly under my arms before Certain Dri too, and it would leave awful pit stains on form fitting shirts which is embarassing! I just came across Certain Dri when I was at CVS and figured I'd give it a try.
