ok...ive always my whole life keep my hiar really short....but now i want a longer look...so for about a year ive grown my hair....adn its like a mane...it just poofs up there...like theres no tomarrow....and i use assuie...adn i condition my hair...adn brush it afterwards, but if i dont put any gel in it it just shoots up like a mexican running from immigration...i really like what my hiar looks like when its wet...but i dont know how to make it stay that way...fresh and movable...andsoft...and just cool....im 18 by the way...and im not really into trands....but more just good looking hair...im halfway in beetween skater and american eagel/aldo model. ive got the spanish look to me....my face is more square than oval...adn my hair is 6 inches long wheni stretch it out...and its pretty curly....not like black curly... but on the curley scale from one to ten...one being just wavey.....adn ten bieng afro....imma 5

so if anyone can help me that would be very helpful

Use Paul Mitchell sleek shampoo and conditioner products. Also a leave-on conditioner will reduce curly, freezy looking hair. You can also iron your hair. Ask a hair stylist professional at a nearby salon. They'll be more than happy to help you choose the right products for your hair. By the way DO NOT buy Paul Mitchell products from Walgreens they're fake. It was on the news and they even interviewed the maker "Paul Mitchell". Supposedly those products are not to be sold there.

The latest thing in taking the curliness out of your hair is Japanese Hair Straightening. It's not cheap and you have to do it about 2X a year but...IT WORKS!! Do a search for it but I think you'll have to go to a larger city to find a salon doing this procedure. HTH
