Garnier Long & Strong Shampoo & Cond.

I've been trying to grow my hair long for quite a while now. I have quite a bit of breakage, so I was thinking of using this product. My sister-in-law and my nieces really like it a lot and say that it has really made their hair grow. I'd really like to try it, but before I do, I'd like to know if anybody knows if it will fade your color if you color your hair. Because I get mine colored at a salon and I don't want it to fade and, therefore, waste money. I know that Garnier makes shampoo & cond. for color-treated hair. But when I spoke with one of their representatives over the phone, she said that the long & strong 'shouldn't' fade the color. She also said that the one for color-treated hair would keep the color but wasn't as good for breakage. I would appreciate any replys. Thanks.

Yeah, it fades color-treated hair. I recently dyed my hair dark brown, and within a week it faded. But color never stays with me anyway so who knows. But that shampoo and conditioner definitely didn't help the color "stick".

Wow, a week, that's frightening. Maybe I better not try it. I get mine dyed red and reds tend to fade quicker normally anyway. Thanks for the info.
