Bare Minerals (Escentuals)..HELP PLEASE - Beauty & Cosmetics Message Board

I have been using b.m for 1 week (bought it at sephora and the sales girls are great at teaching how to apply) and I LOVE IT!

The big problem is that my forehead and in my eyebrows is starting to break out. I am 24 and have never had more than one or two pimples at year my entire life (thank you mom!!). I have normal skin, have worn mainly Clinique or Prescriptives and never really had any problems.

I am wondering if this is something that will cease once my skin gets use to mineral makeup or if it will just continue to get worse. I am nervous b/c I think my BF is going to propose soon and I do not want to have these breakouts in the pictures from our upcoming vacation.

Has anyone else had this happen? What was the outcome??

I am using the SPF 15 Medium + Warmth + Veil. I am also using the bareVitamins skin re-upper before I apply the makeup and wonder if this is the problem.

Hi,
I've used BM and several others and have never had a problem with breaking out. The stuff is just good for your skin. I would tend to think it's the Bare vitamins. Maybe try stopping it and see what happens. The good thing about minerals is it covers so well. Even if you do have a few blemishes you can easlily cover them up.

i have been using BM for about 2 months now and i havent had any problems. I use the med foundation, warmth, and veil but I dont use the skin reupper so that could be your problem.

I saw somewhere that BM has actually been proven in clinicly settings to help your skin. Try not using the reupper stuff and she how that works.

BM is great at covering blemishes like said before, so dont worry baout the vacation!
