| Re: Question about dermablend
I bought my brush at Target for around $10.00. It's a Sonia Kasnuk 01 (I'm looking at the handle). Anyway, it was about half the cost of the Bare Minerals burshes. I later got a Bare Mineral brush when I bought a kit from QVC that included a brush, and both work equally well. Just get an nice, thick, natural brush. I don't know about the shade...that's always tricky. The beige isn't real dark, but if you're really fair, you might go for the natural (I think the lighter shade was called natural). As far as coverage, I don't think you get total coverage with either product. I love mineral powder foundation because it feels good and my skin seems to do well when I use it, but don't expect the amazing results you see on the infomercials. No one comes up to you in the store and says "your skin is amazing" and your friends won't think you look 10 years younger. It does give me a more even complection. I have little red veins on my cheeks and some freckles...it doesn't completely erase them, but they are much less noticeable. I would compare the coverage to that of liquid foundation. I don't know how it would cover acne scars...maybe someone else on the boards can give you some info on that. I have heard posters say that their skin improved when using mineral foundation. Like with any product, some love it and some hate it. I just thought the Physician's Formula might be a cheaper way for you to try mineral make up and get your feet wet before buying the more expensive brands. QVC is also a good way to try it because they are wonderful about returning any item for any reason, no question asked. The only thing you might be out is the shipping fee to return it. They will reimburse you your entire purchase price plus the original shipping.
