Hair Gel help pllllllllease? - Beauty & Cosmetics Message Board

My hair is naturally straight(like no wave at all) and pretty thick. I love to get is wavy etc. I put the gel in my hair, put in in twists ot what ever, and let it dry over night. I have tried a couple brands that leave these little white flakes(not dandriff). It never stays wavy for a long time and always goes flat.

My hair never tolerates any shape. I switched and am currently using Garnier Frutis exta stronghold in extra stong. This goes flat right away. Some not to cheap brands gel that works!

Try Bed Head's Superstar - I love it! Gives you volume without being cakey. I have sort of fine hair - but my stylist has thick hair and she's loves this stuff also. Keeps your style all day. Good luck!

I think it's around $10 - $12, depending on where you buy it. I get mine at Beauty First, but there is also a hair salon in the Walmart near me - they also carry it.
