Help me choose the right color please! - Beauty & Cosmetics Message Board

I am going to a wedding on Saturday evening and tonight chose a cute purple skirt and top. The skirt also has some black and blue throughout. It is not overly casual, but definately not fancy either. What color shoes should I wear? I was thinking black or white? What type of shoes? Maybe a sandle with a small heel? Please share your opinions. Thanks!

Black shoes. It is only my personal opinion, but I don't know if I would every wear stark white shoes (except flip flops), there is just something so fake looking about white shoes, imo; and especially since your outfit sounds like it has darker shades...

I would opt for a stappy shoe, with a heel, to dress the outfit up a bit, since it is an evening wedding...Shoes and accesories can make or break an outfit.

I would think that black would be a good choice as well! Black is usually pretty safe.. and strappy sandals with heels would definitely be good.. with a cute pedicure! Sometimes with cool colors you can wear silver as well.. but it definitely depends on the outfit! Sometimes it can look too flashy or shiny.

Thanks y'all! I got some black shoes tonight with straps and low heels and did get a pedicure yesterday, though I may go back tomorrow and have them change my polish color to purple, heehee!
