I'm looking for yet another new shampoo to try, and it's getting rather difficult to find something I needs that's affordable.
I don't like spending too much on beauty products that just end up down the drain, but it seems that most cheaper brands just don't work for my hair at all anymore.
I currently use Garnier Fructis which has worked great for a while, but not so much anymore... my hair breaks off excessively and I discover new split ends every time I wash it (despite the fact that I recently cut my hair, and went back and cut off almost all the other damaged ends). I also use heat protectants when I blowdry, and comb my hair with a very wide tooth comb yet still get tons of split ends. It's crazy.
I think it may be the fact that I probably have a lot of build-up from the numerous products I put in my hair every single time I wash it, and we seem to have hard water; I'm definitely not the only one who noticed.

Anyway...
I just bought a clarifying shampoo by Nexxus, so hopefully that will help since I hear many good things about it.
But I've also been looking for other more affordable shampoos to try. I've heard good things about Got2B shampoos/conditioners...
I really want to try some of their products, unfortunately they're REALLY hard to find. (I don't buy my products at salons.) So over the past couple of days I've been searching back and forth through all the different places (in this area) that carry the Got2B brand... but all I seem to find are gels, sprays, serums, and other styling products I already have plenty of.

So I'm wondering whether the Got2B products are actually any good seeing that they are relatively cheap compared to other brands usually found at salons? Is it worth going to salons (or wherever) in an attempt to find something other than styling products? The last thing I need are more products... I need a good shampoo/conditioner for my long, straight, thick hair.
