I was just researching information about cocoa butter... and I ended up reading a lot of good things about shea butter. According to some users' reviews, shea butter is better than cocoa butter.
It definitely seems to have a lot of benefits and seems like something my skin could use, especially now that it's getting cold out.
Is shea butter really that good at evening out skin tone and fading scars? Is it better than cocoa butter (which I'm currently using)?
Also, where can I buy it? I know they sell pure shea butter online, but I'm not interested in buying it online. I'm wondering if they sell it at stores like Walgreens or Walmart or any other drug store?
I'm talking about pure shea butter (that may or may not be enriched with vitamins), not lotions that contain shea butter in them.
Oh, and I was also wondering why Palmer's Cocoa Butter is so special? For some reason all recommendations I've read specifically point out Palmer's. Is it really all that different from any other cocoa butter? I currently use a cheap band I got at Walmart, which is also fortified with Aloe and Vitamin E, like most others. What is the difference?
