Has anyone had any success getting a tattoo removed?

I've seen it done with lasers. Some colors remove better then others. It works, but it's painful and expensive and requires multiple sessions. Worth it though, if you really can't stand the tat anymore.

I'm in the process of having my tattoo removed. It's done with lasers and like the pp said it's expensive and painful... but worth it. I have an arm band that was a celtic design that was dark black with some shading and I'm about 4 treatments in and it's so much lighter. The doc said it should take about 10-12 treatments total.

Although, I'm very curious if anyone's tried "wrecking balm". I've been hearing commercials and checked out their website, but I'd love personal stories.

I wish that before someone gets one they would look into the future some and realize that a tattoo is permanent but your tastes aren't! I alway try and tell the kids that when I was 18 I was a totally different person than I am today....thank the gods!

It's very costly and painful. I have had the laser done once and tatbegone tattooed into me by a tat artist twice. It's scarred bad from the laser treatment and it's lighter but I don't have the money or the patience to keep going back. I was going to get a cover up but some tat artists say that because it's scarred it wouldn't hold the color or the lines well.
