| Re: sugar really age us faster?
This country spends too much of our time telling us what is good or bad for us! We are living to 80+ compared to 60+ in the 50's! If we eat right, use less sugar, much less fat and exercised regularly we wouldn't need the gov hoots telling us how to do it. Lots of money spent on just telling us, let alone developing new diseases from Drug Companies so they can sell us a pill to manage it all on their profit lines! Our Grandmas grew their own vegs and worked a heck of a lot harder than any do now, with all the technology to make us even lazier than we are. Sugar is not the root of all evil, it's laziness on the part of the American people, who are the heaviest people in any country! I'm not anti-government just think it's about time we as supposedly intelligent people use common sense to figure out how to eat right without someone telling us to. How often has a so called new research pointed us to NOT eat eggs let's say and then a couple years down the road it's ok to eat eggs several times a week. It happens much of the time and then everyone stops eating eggs and then "new" research suddenly proves that it's ok to eat eggs in moderation, the same people who stopped eating eggs because of the research will now start to eat eggs. My Grandmother lived to be 94 and she always told us most things in moderation and I'm a believer in that! So Lately Sugar is in the "bad light" 5yrs down the road "new light" that sugar is good for you, same ole same ole!
