Re: how long do I need to wait to swim after coloring my hair?

What color did you do your hair? I'm not sure about blondes since some get green tints in their hair from the chlorine, but I've always been fine when dying my hair any brunette shade and I usually wait at least a couple days. I wait a couple of days to wash it the first time as well to avoid too much fading. Try putting your hair with fresh water BEFORE going to the pull or out to the beach and use a leave in conditioner to keep it from getting dry. I've heard this can help prevent discoloring/fading. Rinse it out soon after swimming with some fresh water (or gently wash it) too.
