Eyelids peeling - Beauty & Cosmetics Message Board

Hello, I've got eyelids that are very peeling and are very painful. Any ideas as to why? Also, what can I put on them to ease the pain? I've tried using baby oil and Vitamin E oil to help the dryness and have stopped wearing eyeshadow. Thanks for your help!

Switch to a non-allergenic eye shadow once they heal. Try a cortizone cream on them.

I would stop using any product in your eye region and see if it gets better.
You certainly shouldn't self medicate, especially not with a cortisone based product.
If it doesn't get better after stopping to use cosmetics near the eyes consult a physician

I seem to have settled the problem by using vaseline and getting some hypo-allergenic eyeshadows. Thanks for your suggestions!
