Question Please new to all of this.........

Which is best for small lines from the mouth down the chin......?

I know you can't use botox, just something that is NOT real dramatic......but smooths them and plumps them up?

I don't have allot of money, so need to start out with something not so pricey.

Something like Perlane, Restalyane?

Which is less expensive?

Hitting my 40's and fighting it anyway I can...............pleanty of healthy food and lots of water.............

I have had botox on my forehead, and loved it........but dr say's not around the mouth?

What??? Then?

Re: Please new to all of this.........

Are they similar to lines you may get above your upper lip? I just went in last week for dysport on my forehead and asked about lines around my mouth and was also told you cannot have botox there. He told me the lines are caused by lack of volume/collagen and suggested that I get my lips filled to plump up the surrounding skin. While my lips now look great, and the lines have some improvement, it did not entirely smooth them out. But hey, I'll take any improvement. If perhaps I had had more filler maybe I would have had more improvement but I was going for natural not "fish lips". Don't know how far your lines go down but maybe this is something you could ask about. Just a suggestion.

It was called Artefill, and it cost $520-however it is supposed to last 5 plus years...we'll see.

Then that should definable be worth it.......

They did botox right above my lip and on the lower bottom of my mouth, very very low dose, said it was not bad at all.............but we tried just to see.

Will let you know, you too.......K?

Re: Please new to all of this.........

I myself can't afford cosmetic surgery & desperatley need it. But it's jst a fact of life, so TRY & get over it , there r other's out there with far more worries than a few wrinkle's .That's the only thing that shook me out of it as well.
