Redness from a burn on my nose

I burnt my nose with hot water almost a month ago. At first it was just the burn and then I accidentally peeled the skin and the skin then became raw. From there I just kept putting neosporin and aloe Vera on it to heal it. The size of the wound hasn't really changed but it seemed to be getting less red at a very, very slow pace. At this point, I'm having a hard time determining whether this mark is now a scar and if I should put some sort of scar/fade cream on it, or if it is still in the process of healing and i should keep putting neosporin/aloe vera on it. Or maybe I should just let it be and let nature take its course. Thanks!

Here is a picture of it that I took today:

Re: Redness from a burn on my nose

you should probably go to a dermatologist and make sure that its nothing more than a healing scar.....this could be a warning sign that there was something there, which you burnt, such as a melanoma or something which needs to be looked at.
