Re: weird.... I am coming down with Bells Palsey again

Hi fotomom, sorry to hear this news. I can't imagine what you're going through but it sounds very scary. How long did the bells palsy last the first time?

I hope your doctor has some answers for you. Are you still working or are you done for the season? This must cause you problems with your work, are you able to take pictures?

Hang in there, this will pass!

Oh Fotomom,

I'm so sorry to hear this. I also hope your doctor will give you something for this.

Yes, you did post about B-12 and I responded to your post. I think it got bumped down to the bottom of the site.

Dear fotomom,

I am so sorry you are going thru this again. The thread I wrote about the other day about the ignorance that is still out there concerning lyme talked about Bell's Palsey. They must be seeing this is a problem with lyme. I'm sure when they open their eyes they will see all of the other problems too. Sending ((((((hugs)))))) and prayers.
Maureen

Re: weird.... I am coming down with Bells Palsey again

Thanks you guys!

Its not getting worse.... its mainly my right cheek that is affected, my hubby says unless your looking for it, it isn't obvious (yay!)

Last time I had lost 100% of my movement on my rigth side for 4 weeks then it went bi lateral to the left side for 4 weeks.... it was tough to photograph weddings, I had no choice but to work as I am the only employee of my business.

I see the GP today, my neurologist tomorrow and my LLMD called last night saying to keep taking the antibiotics as he thinks its either a herx or my new antibiotics are not working, he said he would call again today.

Its not getting worse, so thats good news, last time with in 8 hours I lost all movement, so far its been 24 hours and I would say at this point I lost only about 15-20% movement.... if that! Scary!!!!!!

Hi Fotomom,

I also have read a lot of the connection of Bell's Palsey and Lyme and it sound really scary to me!

Please keep us posted on how you are doing as you are in my thoughts.

I am praying you feel better,
