[QUOTE=Bill 1950;3546852]Cheryl: perhaps I'm missing something, but the fact that an MRI shows a lesion on his brain, with elevated spinal pressure and proteins in the spinal fluid would seem worthy of further investigation.
Have the doctors satisfied themselves that the brain lesion has no significance?
Hi, Could he possibly have fallen and not remember? There is a possibility that he could have injuries in his spine that would cause the spinal pressure. Also, I have a frontal lobe injury and I have some of the symptoms you are describing. There is no evidence on my brain MRI that I have damage so it might not show up.
It's worth asking about.
Good luck and your in my prayers.
Went through the same thing with my 78 yr old MIL. The leasion turned out to be brain tumor....they weren't sure where it started, but ended up in her liver and colon...............prayers are with you that they find out what it is........We took her to MD Anderson in houston, they found more there than the doctors did here.........she had two kinds of cancer..............doctors here didn't know that.
