IgM western blot test - I need some advice
I just got my test resuts back:
IGM
18 +
22 -
**23-25 IND
28 -
30 -
**31 +++
**34 IND
**39 IND
**41 IND

my IgG was all negative except **41 +
45 +
does it seem possible that I would have lymes? my doc gave me 500mg amoxicillin take 2 capsules 3 times a day for 3 weeks then test again. that seems like a giagantic dose of antibiotics, has anyone else done that method of testing?
the test says that a positive result for 31 and or 34 may be present after vaccination in unifected persons. and that infection with HSV, EBV, HCV and/or syphillis may give false + .... I have hashimoto's, maybe that gave a false positive lol ... maybe not? I'm hoping I dont have lymes, any comments on my results would be hugely appreciated!

Looks like Lyme...how are you reacting to the antibiotics??

Thank-you both very much for the replies! I truly appreciated it I am hoping so much that I don't have lymes, I'm still trying to fix my thyroid problems, and I just recently found out I have very high levels of arsenic in my body that need to be taken care of as well. I just started taking the antibiotics today, so its a bit early to report on any reactions. Does anyone in the Toronto area know of a LLMD?
