Re: please help me get a clue

How many Dr's have you been too? Have they taken any blood tests or any other medical tests? I can't imagine that any Dr would tell you it's all in your head even if they have run every tests in the book. The symptoms sounds like fibro or chronic fatigue symptoms. Also if you get a lot of bone fractures then you could have early osteoporosis. I'm not a Dr so I can only guess, but you need to keep looking for a Dr who will take all those problems seriously. Surely out of all the Dr's someone of them did a blood test.

Re: please help me get a clue

I have been to 13 doctors and 27 ERs over the past 9 yrs i have had blood tests for the normal things and a c125. My recent doctor saw me 3 times and said sweetheart i am sorry you have way to many things going on and i can't help you these symptoms are too many and i am just a primary doctor. So now i have no doctor. And everything is getting worse .

Re: please help me get a clue

Have you been tested for celiac disease? Or any metabolic disorders? Maybe lyme disease? These are all I can think of right now that could possibly fit at least some of your symptoms.
Don't give up. Keep trying out doctors until you find one who is willing to help. If you haven't already get copies of all your medical records so that you can take them with you to show to the doctor. Trust your instincts. If you feel something is wrong, then keep trying until it is figured out.
I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Keep us updated and good luck.

Re: please help me get a clue

I'm thinking thyroid, too. Problems with it frequently are triggered by pregnancy, and they are probably the most frequently missed diagnoses.

I suggest when you find a new MD, that you pick 3 of your very most troublesome symptoms for him/her to focus on. Don't go into all the rest. A list like that can be overwhelming and distracting to most docs.

Re: please help me get a clue

If you were my sister Id say... lets check back into depression.

Depression intensifies pain and can cause you to be preoccupied (anxious). Anxiety can cause a lot of strange symptoms -nah, let me say it like this- when depression and anxiety are controlled, various ailments tend to improve.

In no way am I saying youre not feeling all these things. Im just saying it sounds like a possibility that..... during your last pregnancy you encountered depression, things slowly fell apart, you began to feel bad, you super-tuned to your body (since messages were being sent that somethings awry), and you've been going in circles ever since. The ailments continued to compound, you continued to feel swallowed whole. And you HURT. Everything is too much. Nothing is normal. Somethings wrong. I hate feeling this way and I need my body to get better. ???

All of these things are symptomatic of depression.

Since you mentioned white blood cell components (eosinophils) I figure youve had labwork. Seeing so many Drs I also figure they checked and really didnt find anythign that stood out. If this is true, maybe you could just try to treat the depression again. You mentioned gaining 70 lbs and that can happen with certain medicines. There are many, you could try another.

Im just really sad to hear youre so miserable and depression is a possibility. Im nobody that can say its not something else, but while your trying to get another Dr to help you find out, you could see a dr to try new meds for depression and hope things get better.

No matter your choice I hope you find yourself better soon.

Re: please help me get a clue

Dear Tina
Oh i can completely relate to who you feel.........
Did you have your last baby via C-section with laughing gas nitrous oxide?

I have a B12 deficiency and had all your symptoms and more B12 is a very complex vitamin and will cause lots of symptoms in all the bodily systems explaining why one feels things everywhere It is serious and will not go away unless treated......
Wondering if you have every been tested anything under 500 with symptoms is to low...
I would go back to your doctor and ask for the following tests..
B12 serum
Holotranscobalamin active B12
Homocysteine
UMMA
Red cell folate
Iron studies
CBC
Do not let any doctor tell you this cant be your problem because your blood count is normal or it cant be your problem without doing all these tests and get them printed out dont take his word for it it is hard to deal with as not to many doctors even knwo that much about it........You can search for it any where try CFS/FMS and methycobalamin B12 deficiency list of symptoms there are many of them If you want to know any more please ask I have been through this myself....

Good luck

I know what you mean about the depression meds they dont work just make you feel even more out of it...........If this doc wont listen look until you find one that will i have had this most of my life had a bad crash 6 years ago and was only diagnosed last year I ended up very ill..... would probably be in a nursing home by now if they didnt get it

Why are you not able to see another doctor? I can't imagine an insurance co not allowing you to see other doctors especially if this guy refused you as a patient.
