| Pain above left ear when I turn my head
I'm wondering if it is from my inner ear problem...I'm dredding the cold weather. When I walk outside, if the cold air gets inside my left ear I get pain and it does not subside for at least 15 minutes after I am indoors. I use cotton balls or an ear muff which helps. After my shower I dry inside my ear with the blow dryer so it is not left wet. But I have been noticing that my head hurts above my left ear when I turn my head. My doctor said that my Eustachian tube is small and shrinks in the cold and not letting out the fluid and I also have an ear infection. She gave me antibiotic and told me to take mucinex for the fluid in my ear. None of these things worked for me. Anybody experience ear pain in the cold weather? I have had inner ear pain when it is cold outside now for many years! Also when I was a teenager I was in a car accident and banged my forehead on the same side. I'm wondering why it is only in one ear and not both...Thank you!
