Dr appointment VS. Disability call - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

I just realized that on Monday I have a appointment with a new psych who I desperatly need to see, at 11:45 and I'm supposed to be by the phone for a telephone call from Dept of Social security where I'm filing for disability at 1:00. I really need to see this new psych because I think my med's need redoing. I am in a depression that won't quit and I cry at the drop of a hat. I have rapid cycling bi polar and haven't been this depressed since I was in the hospital in May, I lost three days there and the docs said all I did was cry. I am not handling stress well at all and I go from crying to angry and scraming. I am keeping a headache now for 12 days and I feel like my insides are shaking all the time. What should I do? The appointment for my new doctor came about because someone else cancled their appointment and I don't know what will happen to my disability claim if I miss that phone call and I've been out of work since May and it's gotten really tight here with all my bills and add medicines and doctors bills too. Can someone please give me advise?

I would call both and see if one or the other could change your appointment by a day. I would hope that one or the other would understand. I will pray for ya

Thanks Whiskey, the doctor changed my appointment, but I'll have to wait for 2 more weeks, hope my family can stand me that long!
