It would be tough to find an herb or a supplement that would do anything for a chemical imbalance in the brain...
I have heard that they are studying a special type of MRI that has some real promise....

Been on Lithium almost 20 yrs - and it still beats the alternative!
I'm not much help because I don't know of any alternatives to medication, but I really wish they could do surgery or find a physical cure for this illness.
The only people that understand us are those who are suffering from the
same disorder. People don't realize it's a PHYSICAL problem with the brain.
A phyiscal cure would be wonderful. If you do find out any more information, please let us know!
I hate meds.. most of the time I'm ok, but boy, sometimes it's real rough on everyone.. anyone have any luck with alternative meds or therapies?
