Hello to all! I just got back from a convention. The National Alliance For The mentally Ill (****) just concluded the TN meeting. It was held in Nashville TN and I had a super time.

Boy did I learn a lot! The workshops included psychiatrics, social workers, teachers, nurses, and others all speaking about mental illnesses. We even had the state commissioner of mental health there to address the group. What a weekend!
I went to the drug or medication workshop, decriminalization of mental illness (jail, probation, diversion & other), and something about **** National (what they do for the state people). We also had a big dinner and music for entertainment.
I also attended one working lunch in which I and the other affiliate leaders got to sound off. We have a master copy of each program that was offered. I’m sure that I could deliver all of them next week. LOL The book (and I do mean book!) would take me just a month to read. Much less teach. However, if anyone in my group needs a section of information I will have it to offer. I guess I will try to look for items to take to each member.
The more I learn the more I find out just how much that I do not know.
