I Stopped Taking My Meds!!!... - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

Hey everyone! Im knew to the boared and I am supposively diagnosed with Bipolar.. I always have some strange reason that the first doctor thatdiagnosed me was wrong... i dont kno if im going crazy or what.. i think they got it mixed up with deppression.. when i take my antipyscotic meds for "bi polar" it seems to make me worse... and now i just stopped taking it and i feel so much better.. . i dont kno what to do.. any body feel me.. ! haa could the doctors be wrong?! please post back~! sarah

welcome to the board. When did you get your dio?
How long did you take your meds and what were they?

Yes - I would like to see what they were. You gotta bang that doctor's door down if you think you're getting worse! It's your RIGHT! But, I think you should try again, but this time make sure you get appointments atleast once a week, just for awhile. AND, try to mention GEODON to him/her. It worked for me, (as far as anti-psychotics go...)

yea.. well now it has been about two weeks... i said i stopped taking my meds.. now i am in a huge mess.. i am so depressed and dont even want to go out.. i am very scared .. i dont kno why. and when i get like this i tend to pick at my face.. and then thats when i kno i am getting manic.. any one else have this problem?
