Do you ever feel like your skin is freezing when everyone else says the temp is comfortable? I've felt like this in the past and it is makes me very uneasy. I almost feel nervous with it. I used to think it was a result of having my blood thinned from blood pressure meds but now I'm wondering if it's bp related hormonal stuff. Chime it if you know what I'm talking about.

I don't think this is going to help, but I'll deposit my bit anyway...

I'm the opposite...I'm ALWAYS warm. I can lay in bed on a night, with the windows opened slightly, the ceiling fan turned on, no covers and feel comfortable. In winter.

However. I spent many years in Minnesota as a kid and LOVED the winters. I spent some of my time in the 'armed forces' in Northern Norway in the middle of winter and that never bothered me much either.

Maybe I'm just 'hot blooded'...

SERIOUS - Blood pressure needs checking. Circulation needs checking. Get a full blood screen done to be on the safe side. Quite possible hormone related - please forgive me, I don't know if your male/female...

Are you on lithium by any chance? Sometimes lithium (and some other meds) can raise hell with your thyroid. And feeling cold like that can be a symptom of hypothyroidism.
Might be worth talking to your doctor or his nurse and mentioning it to them...

I am always cold and my hands like ice. Every one I touch cringes. But in bed at night I sweat so bad I get wringing wet. I take lamictal so not sure what it could be.

Actually I am female and not on Lithium (on klonopin and geodon). But I do have hypothyroidism. I was dx with that before being dx with BP by about a year. I thought being hypothyroid cause my first deep depression but now I think maybe not. Any way my circulation isn't tremendous, I loose feeling in my feet just bending over to touch my toes in yoga. But on ocassion I get really hot and 40 degree weather won't phase me, but mostly I stay cold. Kinda like how I'm basically depressed most of the time and frequently have manic spells. Call it a temperature mixed state if you will. Thanks for the feedback.
