I have not been insulted by anyone. Least of all you K! The fact that you don't have much education never dawned on me until you said it. I am a high school graduate (by the skin of my teeth). I have an associate degree from one of those school you can't flunk out of because they want the grant money. I can't spell to save my life and you've never corrected me on it. For that I'm greatful. Thank You! I was in my late 20's before I learned to read!

K we love you just the way you are. I think I can speak for everybody on that.

I am just not going to participate in the brain or behavior discussion anymore. I think this is a scarey place to have it. That's all I meant by bowwing out.

K I think you are a very interesting and caring person. You have done nothing but help me. You would be terribly missed if you leave. I value your input.

I understand you have been depressed lately. Please don't let that cloud your thinking on this. I don't know how to say it better than please stay. I wouldn't let any idiot(no I'm NOT referring to anyone here) run me off. If I did anything to make you feel that I didn't appriciate you I was wrong and I'm sorry. Let's get back to this whole bp thing!

You have always had kind encouraging words and I thank you.
You are a caring compassionate person. True I maybe lacking
in educational skills but I make up for it with intuition and common
sense. Maybe I just need to back stay away for a while.

I would give anything to have your intuition and common sense.

If you decide to stay away (and I hope you don't)for a while you'll be missed terribly. You do what you need to do to take care of you. Hurry back Please!

I said I wouldn't but I can't help it.

I believe I caused all the upset here by 'stirring things up'. I guess that's just me and the way I do things. DO first - THINK later. Funny thing is I never used to be like that...ONLY STARTED AFTER THE ILLNESS SURFACED. - wouldn't have survived in the Armed Forces very long otherwise would I?????

Anyway. For the record. I have an I.Q. of 174 - WAY smarter than EINSTEIN.

BUT - I have NO school qualifications, NOTHING. - hence the part-time course.

ALSO - I am dyslexic. - only slightly - but I get VERY aware of my spelling mistakes on here because I can't RELY on my spell-check( I just corrected another mistake). I see spelling mistakes everywhere(just corrected a typing mistake) in others postings. I see gramatical errors all over the place. The difference between me and others on this site who have openly corrected MY spelling mistakes is that...

I am a WHITE - ANGLO/SAXON - MALE - SINGLE PARENT - STRAIGHT

I do NOT care a 'furry rats a55' what ANYONE else is...

Male/female, gay/straight, single/married, parent/not, faithful/cheating, black/white...etc

WE have an illness in common, that is what SHOULD bring us TOGETHER. Not what DRIVES US APART...

EDIT: I just corrected ANOTHER spelling mistake after I had posted. How's THAT for honesty....

Hello to all,

I to have issues with spelling. I live by my spell check. It’s funny, but I to went to one of those community colleges that must have needed the money. LOL
However, Life has been good to me. I’m the vice pres of a local insurance agency and make more money than lot’s of my friends that went to advanced colleges. My step brother is a school teacher. My son’s youth minister is a part time chemistry professor at a local college.
Being able to think, having common sense, and having a love for people ranks far above education.
Having this illness means that others must have an open mind and be respectful of the illness it’s self. I believe that compassion starts at home.
We (those who do not have BP) need to have tough skin. My hide is getting thicker by the day. The mood swings that my wife has can play on one’s nerves.
The most important item is that we love them (her) as a person. I’d love her just as much if she had cancer or some other illness. So, let’s just put aside the illness and be people 1st and BP 2nd.
