I was wondering if my memory loss/forgetfulness was due to the bipolar or the meds that I am taking(Effexor and lithium) or is it both? This is a real problem for me. Any thoughts or answers would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Hedge,
If it is the lithium, and it works so well for me, do you think it is worth trying something else? Or should I just stick with the the memory loss? Oh, what to do! Thanks for the reply!

I personally think that antidepressants cause memory loss/forgetfulness, too...

Oh my gosh, I am doomed! Now I know why Hedge is off the meds! I don't think I could handle that at this point in my life. I guess I will have to deal. Thanks for your reply Fineanddandy!
