Lamictal in kids

Hi all,

I have just finished going through the whole nueropsych process for my 9 year old son. They confirmed his BP and his pdoc has told us we should try Lamictal. He says as long as you start out very slow and carefully watch for a rash we should be fine. The prozac hasn't helped the depressive side of the BP only created increased hyperactivity which we definitely don't need! Anyone else know if this is helpful for children. I saw the thread for adults that are using but was wondering if anyone has children using it.
