Mixed diagnosis - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

Hello, I am Bi-Polar I and just recently got back into couseling and learned that I am mixed also with OCD / PTSD. These two don't worry me as much as the thrid one Borderline Personality. I don't see a section just for BPD.

I am currently on Abilify and Zoloft, any information on these two drugs would be appriciated. So far been 3 weeks, and just tired feeling, and kind of in a fog lately.

I have been diagnosed with bi-polar since I was around 16 years of age, and back then had been put on Prozac, then Lithium and Amitriptiline. I am now 33 and had been off medications since age 20, kind of just stumbled through the hard years with no help. But my depression got the better of me this year and it was a set back.

Oh also I am ADHD, have major trouble with short term memory, distracted easily, with the bi-polar I have major trouble with racing thoughts.. stuff like that.

There is a site called Mental Health Sanctuary...they have volunteers that deal with Borderline Personality Disorder...they are also sufferers, family memebers etc. It is a good place to go and find a pen pal if you need to talk and vent......hope this helps........Kahlia

Here on the health boards, BPD would be under Personality Disorders. Have you got back on meds for your BP?

I was on Risperderal, Lexepro, and Cymbolta oh and Mythiline (sp) anyway cost was over $700 and had not health insurance, recently got approved for SSI w/ medical card, so I am now on Abilify 10mg and Zoloft 100mg.

I am into my 3rd week of the BP meds and I don't think they are working good enough, still having crying fits, and loneliness.
