LOOK! I'm Back - Bipolar Disorder Message Board

Hey Guys, Im back.
After being on vacation for a couple of weeks, I think I'm getting back into the swing of things. As I am re-assimilating it might take me a while to be as regular as I was earlier.

Some good news for those of you who know me and my predicament. We are on orders to go to Hawaii!!!! And we are reporting the first week of August. As I keep telling myself not to, I feel myself getting my hopes up and getting excited more and more every day. I hate it because Im scared to death the the Army is going to squash all my hopes and dreams yet again. But, still Im hoping for the best, maybe if we all keep our fingers crossed everything will work out the wasy it's supposed to.

For those of you who dont know, my husband and I were on orders to go to England and then about 4 weeks before we were supposed to leave (this week) We were informed that they didn't want me, because Im BP. It took them a little while but some people who actually care got everything straightend out.

Moods have been pretty stable so far this month, although we will see what happens, when I have to go back to the real world, i.e. WORK

I guess thats it for now, I promise i will update myself on all your goings on this past month when I decide to slip back into reality. Luv you all, and Im glad to be back.

Just went for my first appt with my psych after my vacation. He was very happy with the improvement the break had on my moods, I guess stress, normal and induced affect me more than they should or at least more that I would like them to. I have an appt with my therapist on thursday and hopefully we can work on some ways to keep this relaxed, normal mood despite the stress and anxiety that is inevitable when dealing with the military and my job. If you have any good stress reducing techniques that really help you (besides diet and exercise, these help, but aren't enough for me) I would greatly aprreciate any imput. Luv ya lots.
