Lori3 Member Join Date: Aug 2002 Posts: 88	Bipolar disorder and medication My husband was recently told by a psychiatric nurse that he may be borderline bipolar. He put him on Depakote to 'even out his moods.' While I have seen minor improvement I still seem him being 'down,' and 'blue.' Does Depakote also help with the depression side of bipolar disorder or are there other meds usually prescribed along with it? Thank you.
