Depakote, does it help you sleep?

I am just wondering if this mood stabilizer helps you sleep, I was on Lithium for a few months and it didn't help me sleep, it did help my moods till I got weak and my stomach was upset all the time. If anyone else has any medicine suggestions that is used for bipolar that will help you sleep, I would appreciate it. Seroquel worked great for me, except it cause my heart to race and i had abnormal ekg and the doctor made me come off of it. I have tried every type of benzo (valium,Xanax, ativan, restoril, dalmone) and ambien and lunesta with very little success. lunesta has helped some, but not as much as I would like. Thank you
